Welcome to Passion Auto Club’s WordPress Blog

As stated on the community page of our website, we have demonstrated the fact that we embrace Web 2.0 by starting a blog, a Facebook Group and Business Page. We initially started the blog on Blogger but decided to transfer it to WordPress for several reasons. WordPress is more user friendly and I manage two other blogs here on here so going between sites started to seem like a hassle after I realized I could get all my blogs on one dashboard, which makes editing more than one blog from the same browser window possible. This time-saving feature is critical when you maintain multiple sites blogs and social-networking profiles. I hate the fact that I can’t get all my widgets to work as they did on Blogger but we voted for function over form. There were other considerations but that’s for another post, lets talk about Passion Auto Club…

Changing Your Bulbs

I am a big fan of Haynes Automotive Repair Manuals and Techbooks. As a matter of fact I now have several titles which I use to help me repair my clients vehicles. I also purchased two more from Amazon.com last week, hopefully they get here soon.

I stumbled upon this video on YouTube and realized that the guys at Haynes had started a profile and uploaded some lovely videos. This one is about changing your bulbs, something every driver should learn to do. I admit it was difficult the first time I tried to replace my headlamp bulbs, especially when trying to pull off the rubber seals and inserting the bulb into the holder. I hope the video helps to show how easy it is so you can eventually  do it yourself.

My Accident (March08) – On the Scene

As you can see, I HAD AN ACCIDENT.

Of course I am upset, very upset. Pissed as a matter of fact. I didn’t even see it coming. I was on my way to class at the Jamaican-German Automotive School (JAGAS) on Maxfield Avenue on Monday, March 3, 3008 when this happened. It felt like something fell out of the sky and hit me, well I mean hit the car. Here’s my version of what happened:
